CASANZ is seeking abstracts that reflect the 2026 conference theme of:
21st Century Challenges
The theme reflects the complex forces transforming our world and emphasises the need for innovative, solution-driven approaches to protect air quality and build environmental resilience.
We invite you to come and face these challenges head-on, share new work and innovations, learn from each other, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Abstract guidelines
All abstracts submitted for consideration for presentation at the 2026 Clean Air and Environment Conference and/or the 2026 Odour and Air Emissions Conference are critically reviewed by the Conference Scientific committees as to their eligibility and suitability.
You’ll find everything you need to know about the process in the submission guidelines, which include our speaker and author agreement.
Submit an abstract for a 20-minute presentation via the abstract submission portal by Wednesday 1 April 2026.
All abstracts submitted for the conference must follow these guidelines.
- All abstracts must be written in English using the official Abstract Submission Template.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
- The abstract should define the precise subject of the presentation to the audience.
- A full paper or extended abstract is required to deliver an oral presentation.
- Authors of accepted abstracts are required to register to attend the conference as delegates before 20 May 2026.
Full Papers and Extended Abstracts
Authors of accepted oral abstracts are required to submit a full paper or an extended abstract by 20 May 2026 and must adhere to the format guidelines, as per the templates below. Poster presentation authors do not need to complete this step.
Submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. All accepted submissions will be published in the conference proceedings and made available during the event.
Presenting authors are required to register and pay to attend the conference.
