Program

Conference Program | Days 1–3

Guided by the theme “21st Century Challenges,” the conference program will explore the complex and interconnected forces reshaping air quality, emissions, and odour management, alongside the innovative and practical solutions needed to respond.

Across three days, delegates will have the flexibility to move between all parallel streams from both the Clean Air and Environment conference and the Asia-Pacific Odour Conference, creating a highly connected and interdisciplinary learning experience.

The program features international keynote speakers, peer-reviewed technical sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, industry sessions, and emerging research.

As CASANZ celebrates 60 years of advancing air quality science, policy, and practice, the conference will also feature a special fireside chat reflecting on the organisation’s legacy and the future of clean air leadership.

Celebrating 60 Years of CASANZ

In 2026, CASANZ proudly celebrates 60 years of leadership, advocacy and contribution to the advancement of air quality and environmental management across Australia and New Zealand.

To mark this milestone, a special panel session will bring together respected industry leaders from different eras to reflect on how science, regulation, technology and community expectations have evolved over the past six decades, while exploring the emerging challenges and opportunities likely to shape the next 60 years ahead.

More than a historical reflection, this session provides an opportunity to recognise the extraordinary contribution air quality professionals have made to improving emissions management, environmental outcomes and public health over generations. It will celebrate the importance of the profession, reconnect delegates with the purpose behind the work we do, and inspire the next generation of leadership and innovation for the decades ahead.
